Owner & Founder

Ken founded Whittle Fire Protection in 1993 after briefly serving as a firefighter for the [...] fire department and has 30+ years of experience in the fire protection industry. Early in its founding, Whittle Fire Protection built a strong culture around relentless customer service, partnership approach to relationships, and quick responsiveness, which have supported the Company's leading reputation as the go-to fire protection provider on the Central Coast. Outside of work, Ken enjoys swimming, golfing, surfing, spending time with family, and being involved in the local community. Ken earned his bachelor's degree from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.

Owner

Kristi joined Whittle Fire Protection after beginning her career in nursing. She has been crucial in providing the supporting infrastructure that has enabled the business to grow over time. Kristi has also been a strong driver in maintaining the company's tight-knit family culture.

Outside of work, Kristi enjoys playing pickleball and tennis, walking the family dogs, and spending time with her family. Kristi earned her bachelor's degree from Loyola Marymount University and her nursing license from Cuesta College.

Director

Eli joined Whittle Fire Protection in 2017 and managed the day-to-day operations for several years before transitioning to an advisory role as a member of the company's Board. Eli holds a bachelor's degree from UC Davis and an MBA from the University of Chicago (Booth).

Chief Operating Officer

Alex joined Whittle Fire Protection in 2020 and is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the business. He has developed a strong reputation for execution and customer service, while advancing the company's partnership ethos. Outside of work, Alex enjoys golfing, winemaking, working out, and spending time with friends and family. Alex holds a bachelor's degree from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and a master's degree from Chapman University.

Head of Fire Engineering & Project Management, P.E.

Logan joined Whittle Fire Protection in 2021 after serving the local Santa Maria community as a police officer. As an engineer by trade, Logan brings a unique technical background, quickly distinguishing himself as the go-to resource for the most technical fire protection questions not only in the local contracting community but across the State of California. Logan received both his bachelor's degree and later master's degree in Fire Protection Engineering from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Logan is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.). Outside of work, Logan enjoys woodworking in his shop, barbecuing, and spending time with his wife and kids.

Office Administrator

Rebecca holds a B.S. in Business Marketing from Cal Poly. Known for her exceptional organizational skills and positive attitude, she excels in managing scheduling, calls, accounts receivable, insurance matters, and human resources.
